New project in school

Today we started a new project in school. We have to present something at thursday, and my group chose to write about when our galaxy the milky way will collide with the galaxy andromeda. I write about what is going to happend after the collision, here are some of the english folder we are making:

When the milky way and the andromeda galaxies collide, the andromeda galaxy which is twice the milky ways size, suck up the milky way and they will form a new galaxy called milkomedia. When you think of a collision you probably think of a great BANG, but when theese two galaxies collide their wont be any explosions. Because a galaxy is mostly empty spaces, and if you deminished the universe 10 billion times, the earth would be small as a grain of sand. And the sun would be an orange lying 15 meters away. And if you put the sun in Oslo, the closest star would be in Gran Canaria, 4300 kilometers away! So the chanses for any star collision is minimal, and all people living on the earth at that time will be just fine.
